Why Growers Keep Coming Back.

Three reasons our rootlets outperform what you'll find anywhere else.

01

Real Wisconsin Soil.

Marathon County is to ginseng what Napa is to wine. The cold winters, glacial loam, and shaded hardwood canopy create the exact conditions that produce the most prized American ginseng on Earth. Asian buyers pay a premium for Wisconsin ginseng specifically. Our rootlets start their life in that soil.

"Wisconsin ginseng commands roughly twice the price of ginseng grown anywhere else."

02

Hand-Graded, Not Bulk-Shipped.

Every rootlet we ship goes through hand inspection. Weak ones get composted. Damaged ones get rejected. You only pay for rootlets that meet our standards: firm flesh, intact bud, healthy fibers. The math is simple: cheap rootlets that don't sprout cost more than premium rootlets that do.

"Customer service answered my soil prep question within an hour. These folks actually grow ginseng."

03

A Family Farm, Not A Reseller.

We grow what we sell. When you call our number, you're talking to people who plant rootlets every spring and harvest roots every fall. Got a soil question? A pest problem? A shade concern? We've probably already solved it on our own land. That's a kind of support no broker can offer.

Questions Before You Plant.

When do you ship?
Rootlets are in stock right now and ship within 2 business days of your order. We use insulated packaging to keep rootlets healthy in transit. Standard shipping arrives in 3 to 5 business days within the U.S.
Which age rootlet should I buy?
2-year ($2 per rootlet, sold in packs of 20): lowest cost per plant, longest wait to harvest. Best for large plots. 3-year ($5 per rootlet, sold in packs of 3+): most popular, balances commitment with timeline. 5-year ($5 per rootlet, no minimum): fastest path to harvest, best for testing before scaling up. Most first-time growers start with 3-year.
What soil and climate do I need?
Ginseng wants slightly acidic soil (pH 5.5 to 6.5), heavy shade, and good drainage. Hardiness zones 3 to 7 work best. If you have woods, a shaded north slope, or you're willing to install shade cloth, you can grow ginseng.
What's your guarantee?
If you're not happy with the rootlets you receive, contact us within 30 days. We replace, refund, or make it right. No paperwork games.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship within the U.S. only. Live plant material faces import restrictions in most countries.
Can I make money growing ginseng?
Yes, if you have patience. Wisconsin-grade ginseng roots sell to brokers and wholesale buyers at strong prices, particularly into Asian markets. Mature wild-simulated ginseng commands a premium. The catch: harvest is 4 to 6 years out, so this is a long-term investment, not a quick flip.
